I didn't get one, that I've seen yet anyway. Did you have to sign up for it Dave?

Rob,

I caught the link in email before you deleted your post and thought it was worth reposting. Great interview, why did you delete it??

Aaron Jr,

Check your spam folder. In the meantime I will reforward my response to your email again. Look for an email coming from whos who.

The only reason I deleted it was I thought the link I put up was wrong and wouldn't work. I didn't want to send people on a wild goose chase. I guess it turned out the link was correct though, so I'm glad you re-posted it.
Thanks,
Rob

Well maybe the link was wrong like I originally thought. I tried the link what you re-posted and it doesn't work. Not for me anyway. Keep in mind of course, I really have no idea what I'm doing on a computer. I'm the dumbest of the dumb when it comes to computer stuff, so maybe it's just me. It still baffles me that I was even able to set up the blog that I did.

I've had the email but not yet sighted the DVD - those long-distance carrier pigeons need a break occasionally you know! Meanwhile, I'm happily watching the Series 1 In the Attic DVD's, which are just so much fun.

I'll look out for you when I get the official disc though Aaron Jr - I'd swap you for Johnny Cash any day.

I watched the DVD and it is interesting, although I feel somehow like I was at a lot of what was being filmed.

'Fragments' is a stream of consciousness kind of film that one minute you're watching the band, then Roger is talking inside the bathroom about his vocal warmups. It's that sort of thing.

Oddly enough, I have a copy of The Rolling Stones' banned movie that highlighted their 1972 tour, and this Who DVD is much like that -- minus the very visible excesses that went on backstage and on the road.

So it won't blow you away or reveal something magical but it's a nice piece for those waiting for the next Who installment.

Eric Clapton is God? If that's the case, send me to Hell. Sorry but I have to be brutally honest here: Clapton is the most over-rated guitarist in history. Yeah, it's just my opinion but I know a lot of people who share it with me. I like Eric Clapton don't get me wrong, but God? Come on!

Then again, to each his own, I guess...

I did receive mine and viewed it last week. I give it a B+. I especially liked the scene with Roger in the restroom warming up by singing a Johnny Cash tune. Excellent!

Sidney! Rob!! How could you both desecrate the Slowhand gods name and talent????? With three unprecedented inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, ranked 4th in Rolling Stones list of the Greatest Guitarists of All Time, the bluesman of our time!! From the Yardbirds to Cream to Clapton & Friends! From Layla (both versions) to Change the World! I cannot believe it. Pete would be ashamed!!

Dear TOWHM:

You are absolutely right. I didn't mean to come off as though I didn't like Eric Clapton. I guess I was just having a bad day or something. Your points regarding his Hall of Fame status and Rolling Stone ranking speak volumes of just how good he is. As a matter of fact, the first concert I ever attended was Eric Clapton when I was 13 Years old. He was great then and is great now. Lastly, the thought of offending Pete kills me. I definately wouldn't want to do that. Please accept my apology to you and whoever originally wrote the Clapton post. Unfortunately, I don't remember who posted it since it was deleted.

Apology accepted! We all have our heros, and our differences. Pete and Eric are tight no matter how we all wuold compare them.

Hi there All.
I believe I may have upset a rather lovely person on this blog entry and for that I would like to put out a public apology about my comment about Eric Clapton. Everybody here (besides loving Pete etc) has their own tastes besides The Who etc and I commented more on THAT as opposed to demeaning the said individual. Anyway I am really sorry about this all and meant no harm indeed.
All that being said.....Eric Clapton has his place indeed and I even had an LP of his once which brings back fond memories....be that as it may and differences aside ...blog on indeed.xx

That little guy is amazing. He and his dad (EPCISGOD) were invited to make a blog and become team blogger members to post blog entries together. I hope they take us up on their offer. What do you all say??

Aaron Jr. would be a perfect addition to this blog. Afterall, He is the future of Rock 'n' Roll. And let's face it, there aren't many Who fans his age out there to pass the torch to.
