Well I've been tagged by Atomic Elroy. For punishment should I drag him back to post blog entries?? Or haunt GinaB (his referral source) instead?? Well here goes, first the rules, then the *thing*:

1) Post rules before you give your facts 2) List 8 random facts about yourself 3) At the end of your post, choose (tag) 8 people and list their names, linking to them 4) Leave a comment on their blog, letting them know they've been tagged then the facts:

1) I've played rhythm guitar in various bands over the years.

2) The lead guitarist from my first band went on to European superstardom.

3) I once learned the recorder parts for Stairway to Heaven sitting on a bathroom floor with another musician, in the club, on the night of a gig. It was two hours before the gig started, the only private place we had to learn the parts, the first and only time we ever played the song live, and the first and only time I ever played the recorder on any song ever.

4) The longest act I ever worked with lasted over 10 years.

5) The shortest act I ever worked with lasted under 10 days.

6) I once met John Kennedy, Jr, and at another time Ted Kennedy, Jr.

7) All my exs live in Texas.

8) Well, two do.

Tagged? Tagged? Me? How could this happen?

Did I miss something here? I am totally confused...

Yes you Dave, TAGGED!

Rob, a tag is when someone from their blog mentions that you must cut and paste and follow the directions, usually resulting in answering personal questions and then naming others that are to do the same. Hence I was tagged by Atomic Elroy, I cut and pasted the entry from his page, responded with my own answers, and then named 8 people, as per the instructions, to do the same at their websites.

And so while I'm at it, I'll include you and so YOU'RE TAGGED TOO. (Go to Atomic Elroys blog to see what he did and then see this post again for what you are to do).

I'm BAAAAD. I'm not obeying the tag orders.

At least not yet.

Give me till the weekend.... maybe.

(for future reference I'm usually the one who breaks the chain... who doesn't forward to 15 friends the email that will bring them their most secret wish...)

erm, not to be nosey but don't you need to be dead to haunt someone?

and i take no responsibility. I'm in the shape of something else from me, by saying I take no responsibility. Can you guess the shape?

Lucy - I'm with you on the chain thing if it's in letter form - those are all bollocks. However, I quite enjoyed doing this one (Ahvarhan got me too), and I did follow the rules. The hardest thing was finding 8 bloggers I knew well enough to ask who hadn't already been "got"! Does this mean I should get out more?

One other thing: at the risk of sounding monumentally thick, whose fabulous facts am I reading here? Has one of you morphed into an actual being called TOWHM? Which one???

Sidney said...

Its your regular stupido talking here. Also a bit confused. I read towhm reply which is quite self-explantory...except for me ..that is. do I copy and paste as a new blog entry???? and then answer the questions??? What if I do not know 8 people with websites/blog thingies. Aplogises but this whole bloggie thingy new wordly stuff is only catching up to me know...hey we only got our democracy here in SA more than a decade ago.

ROB said...

You're not alone Sidney. I'm as clueless as they come. And Marcie, if you can't find enough bloggers to "tag" that doesn't mean you need to get out more; it means the exact opposite.

The Ones Who Heard Music said...

I AM THE GREAT AND TERRIBLE WIZARD OF O... erm TOWHM. Those would be my facts you are reading Margie.

GinaB! Hello! Welcome aboard. To haunt, yes it would be preferable to be dead first. But then there is the "Question"- Am I live, or am I Memorex? ;)

Dangerous curves????

Sidney, yes, you do copy and paste the instructions to your blog as a new blog entry.

Then you give 8 random facts about yourself, although I read Lace's and she cheated by giving 8 in-order facts about one incident! Some people don't listen (smirk).

After that you list 8 people you are tagging for them to do the same.

When you are finished you go to each of their blogs and tell them in a comment that you have tagged them.

And so it blogs on!

The Ones Who Heard Music said...

Oh and Sidney, even if you did know 8 people, this thing has been passed around so much, you'd probably be tagging the same ones over and over again. Except for Rob! Tag him!! And Lucy again, just for being so BAAAAD! :D

you're in complete control.

Oh, One Who Heard Music, your facts are interesting. I'm especially curious about your #2! But I suppose this is all we'll get....

A hint, though?

(or perhaps your nature is to tease...) :-)

The Ones Who Heard Music said...

My facts? Interesting? Nah, I am not famous, I don't run with the rich or famous. It was my luck to have gotten into a band with someone who "made it", and no, he isn't associated in any way with our man Pete. Neither am I.

I'm just a poor working musician with a great bunch of friends (including here).

Lucy said...

Can you give us a hint on the one who made it?

Just curious after all! I'm sure I've never even heard of this person....

The Ones Who Heard Music said...

Erm, my bad, LiN-no-da has been tagged!!!!!

Lucy, you may have heard of him if you are a heavy metal fan. No more hints!
