One of Pete's Biggest Fans is moving to Taiwan!!!

So, since the blog has been a bit quiet for a week or so I thought I would just come in and say something to one of Pete's biggest fans and one of the first people I befriended on Rachel's site, for anyone who does not know SUESJOY is moving to Taipei in a couple of days. I don't know the entire story but I do know that she has already left California and is on the East Coast right now saying goodbye to a few of her peeps and then she is off to Taipei at the end of this week I believe.

She is a fantastic person and supersweet. I am sending her and her daughter Anjoli and her hubby all my best wishes for a safe flight and a happy new life there. I know she will still be stopping in here and that she will still have the internet in her new country but I still feel that we should all wish her a happy and safe journey and send her lots of blogger love.

It has to be mind-boggling to move half way across the world so, please tell us how it went when you arrive, Sue, after you catch your breath.
I am sure you can encourage The Who to come and play in your neck of the woods.

Anyway, happy trails...
send us all some cool stuff that we can't get here.

Love ya,

-Lin

All the best to you Sue - distance doesn't seem like such a big deal on a blog, but it's a huge move in real terms, and I wish you luck, happiness and a fast broadband connection!

Hi Sue - You've lived in Taipei before I know, but is it a permanent move this time?

No matter what your plans are, I wish you and your family all the best.

Regardless, it still must be quite an adventure!

Love
Dale

No, Lace, unfortunately I have never met Sue, I tried to work it out to meet her in Mass when she was here this week but I missed her by one stinkin' day.
But I will gladly take your word for it!

Oh wow!
Thanks SO much for this post and your sweet comments.

Just a slight hiccup in our plans to relocate as I am in Mass. General now awaiting surgery to remove a benign brain tumor! HELLO!!!
I was just diagnosed yesterday.
But you know...in my laptop bag, which I carried on the plane, I have kept my letter and Christmas card from Pete and the slides from my first Who show which I am promising to develop as SOON as I get to Taipei!
When that will be, I really don't know!
ah...life.
oi vay.
(more details on Rachel's forum).

Left a note on Rachel's for Sue. I still am shocked. Yikes. My Aunt had an acoustic neuroma, and Lin just posted over there that her Mom had one. Too strange. They are supposedly very rare. And here I am out of town, nowhere near Mass. Well, we are keeping you and your family in our most fervent prayers to healing and well-being.

Hope it is helpful.

Keep your mind busy with other things and use PEte and Rachel's music to help you throught the recovery time!!!

I'll be thinking about you!

Sue, my deepest concerns and best wishes. I am sure everything will turn out just fine. Keep us posted and take good care of yourself. I'll be looking forward to those slides once you get to Taipei.
