Roger is on Conan Wednesday night (actually Thursday morning)
Hello everyone...
Just a super quick post to all the WHO HEADS on here...
everyone knows now that Pete and Rachel did not come to NY for The Who movie Premiere but my friends Lisa and Jon (who I met at Joe's Pub #2 and who got me into Joe's Pub #3 with their spare ticket) just informed me that our possibly second fave person on the planet, Roger Daltrey, is positively in NY and is going to be on 'Late Night With Conan O'Brien' on October 31st (but the show airs after Midnight so it is really November 1st)
Conan is on NBC at 12:30 AM Eastern Time for anyone who doesn't know.
Thanks Jon and Lisa for the hot tip!
ROCK ON, everyone. And whoever got to see the NY Premiere please come on and tell us how the movie was!!!

I hope this is You Tubed SOON!
I miss Coney.......
:(
Thanks! Will catch it.
:-)
Cool! Thanks for the heads up. I'll set the Tivo right now.
thanks, i'll be watching!
Nice one! Sully (John Sullivan) of the Sullivan Brigade was there last night. He has a nice blog post over to his place. Brian in Atlanta was there, and I think Dave in Pennsylvania was going! So, we should see lots of tellings! Yay. Goldhawk has an MSNBC 5-minute clip of Roger talking to "Morning Joe" ... Roger was nothing short of adorable. I swear he does look gorgeous. He was a little nervous at first, but relaxed and was quite cute and animated.
sorry .. make that brian in NY!
Is Arnold Swartzenegger doing chat shows now?
The new Who movie is fucking fantastic.....I had a great time last nice at the premier....will post on it..... maybe tonight.....
Thanks for the heads up on Conan...
I can't beleive it .... I fell asleep right before Roger came on and woke up to some guy in a banana suit....bogus
Don't worry Dave, It was a pretty short and weak interview. You didn't miss much. Conan is a horrible interviewer just like Leno. And the time restraints on these lame shows is laughable.
Howard Stern interviewed Roger a few months ago (when Pete didn't show) and it was a great interview. Last night just reminded me why I don't watch late night crap T.V.
I will now resume my boycott of Conan, Leno, Letterman, and the rest of the idiots. Until Pete is on of course. There are always exceptions after all:)
Rob
aw Rob I love Conan!
But yeah he isn't a very good interviewer. He's DAMN funny though...and he's from BOSTON...
:)
I agree with Rob, you didn't miss much. I have to admit though, even though Conana is not a great interviewer (he doesn't listen and is always going for the joke) Roger wasn;t that great of an interviewee either. They both talked over each other, Roger came off as cocky (to me), and he blew off the film (which is what he was there to promote). So , All in all, I thought he looked good but everything was very missable. I don't get that with Pete's interviews, he always makes me laugh and comes off as quite loveable and fun to listen to!
Maybe I am biased? Roger has treated me much the same way in real life the two or three times I have crossed paths with him over the years. Especially at Joe's Pub #2! Maybe because Heather was with him? I don't know???
Rock on my friends!

Dave,
I knew you'd have a good time at the premier. :-)
Funny re: Conan. I set my TV to sleep timer. Watched some Leno. Had a terrible headache. Couldn't relax. Was tired but not very sleepy. Saw the beginning of Conan. Saw him mention that "rock legend Roger Daltrey" was one of the guests. I go, "oh good". The next thing I know, its morning!
I totally missed it. Oh well! (p.s. ;-) I never would've allowed myself to fall asleep if it had been Pete!) (p.s. one place I'd love to see Pete is Larry King Live) (maybe when his book comes out? Eric Clapton was recently on; his memoir just came out too)
